Jack Thorp served as First Assistant District Attorney before being selected to finish the term of outgoing DA Brian Kuester in July 2017. Thorp grew up in Catoosa, Oklahoma and served in the United States Navy before becoming a prosecutor. Jack is married to Joy Pittman-Thorp, Deputy Attorney General managing the Criminal Justice Division for Oklahoma Attorney General Mike Hunter. He has two daughters, Makenzie of Philadelphia, PA, and Delaney of Wagoner.

Mission Statement

The Mission of the District Attorney's Office is to lead our communities in the fight for justice and public safety through the fair, equal, efficient, and vigorous prosecution of criminals and protection of victim's rights. We envision that our office, through cooperative efforts with the public and other agencies tasked with public safety, will provide a criminal justice system in which all of the citizens in or District can hold their trust.
